The Haefeli 1-795a+ is designed to foster intimate moments between residents and visitors in an elderly home. As people age, one of their greatest fears is losing connection with others. With shorter attention span and diminished hearing abilities, meaningful interactions become increasingly challenging.

Originally designed by Max Ernst Haefeli, this chair has been given a new feature. It allows the chairs to be moved together, extending a platform that encourages moments of togetherness. Whether sharing a piece of cake, drawing, or simply holding hands, the Haefeli 1-795a+ creates opportunities for intimate connections.
