Lilian Onstenk is a product designer with a bachelor’s degree from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and a master’s degree from ECAL. Her work is characterized by playful experimentation and a strong dedication to materials.
Lilian’s approach is deeply collaborative, involving close interaction with industry partners and other creatives. Positioned at the intersection of craft and industry, she follows a hands-on methodology, constantly exploring different mediums and forms. Driven by curiosity about materiality and haptic qualities, she emphasizes innovative methods of working with materials, particularly in addressing waste streams and utilizing offcuts.
Through her ability to work with diverse resources at scale, Lilian produces tangible solutions that blend functionality with a imaginative and conceptual approach.
